BUSTED!

Someone got totally busted on the train today. After my stop, the conductor got on the loud speaker and said, “To the lady that sauntered slowly infront of the train when the lights were flashing and the gates were down, that was a foolish thing to do. Never do that again. Thank you.” For some reason this makes me feel like I am 10 years old on the bus to school.

Other than that…

Today has been pretty okay at work today. Not too much is going on. Last night I hung out with Kim and then I came home and Frank and I discussed wedding stuff with my mom. Then we watched TV. Then we watched more TV. Then Frank mercilessly tickled me until I said, in the best stern voice I have, “My patience is wearing thin.” So then he hid at the bottom of the bed with only his eyes peaking up over the edge. He looked so cute and innocent I couldn’t help but giggle and forgive him.

Tonight I am going to play with Katy S. Katy is a babelicious babe and we are going to Olive Garden where I am going to eat some salad and soup. YUM! Katy and I are going to take over the world with our orange hand and zee pink lemonade!

🙂

Slacker Emily!

Updates from this weekend….

Deranged Blonds Alert:

Saturday night we (Kate, Meghan, Kim and I) decided it would be a splendid idea to rent a movie called “Swim Fan.” This movie featured the deranged blond of the week. I don’t even know what her name was. Wait. It was Madison Bell. Crazy lady. Anyway, I just thought I would share.

I know I have a lot more to say, but I just don’t have the energy. Darn it–I suck at keeping my blog up-to-date.

Livin' in CRAZY times…

Good things for a buck? Candy and me… for $1.

Shoppy Shop

Last night Kate and I went shopping. We had planned a date with Target. I love Target–I can’t leave that store empty handed! As we pulled into the parking lot, Kate said, “Oh! A dollar store!” Now, when I think of a dollar store, I think icky interior with cheap-o toys. It brought back memories of Christmas shopping when I was little.

But last night, Kate and I walked through the doors into our very own wonderland of happiness! They had all sorts of fun books, toys, games, candy–you name it! I got Frank a present at the dollar store–aren’t I an awesome girlfriend? Kate and Jamie are planning to go back to see what other treasures they can uncover.

This leads me to my job… I think that I saw my resume at the dollar store… “Hire me–$1”

Memorandum

So, I was chatting with my lovely cubemate, Angie. I was whining to her about how we don’t make any money and how we work all these crazy hours. She mentioned I may have missed the memo.

“What memo?” I thought. She emailed it to me. It is here in its entirety. Poetry, really.

Retreat

I just went to retreat. That was nice. Nothing terribly amusing or interesting happened at retreat. I like the girls in my small group and they are pretty funny so it was a nice evening.

I am sooo tired that I am going to go to bed in a minute. I just like putting entries in my blog. It’s like always having someone say, “Well, Emily, what did you do today?” Not that no one asks–many people ask because I am just that important (sarcasm)–I just like having some place to report to. Sort of a life reconaissance mission. What did I find out, what do I plan to do with the information.

Also, just so you are all aware (whomever you all may be), I do not plan to have perfect spelling or grammer in my blog. I think that would limit my creative freedom and self-expression. Just an FYI.
