So today is stinkin’ cold. But I will not be sucked into the anger, feelings of betrayal and general annoyance that usually trips me up when it gets cold. Instead I will drown myself in a gallimaufry of happy thoughts: shopping, the Christmas tree Frank and I don’t have, the hope I maintain that for Christmas Santa will tilt the world so that CHicago is actually a tropical locale.
